But the happiness that gives Nimira his new lifestyle does not takes to be truncated. He soon discovers that the spirit of a young gentleman fairy is trapped within the rigid ends of the machine. As they fall in love, find themselves in a plot to save the fairy realm of a ruthless gang of witches. A battle that will risk their own lives. This delightful novel, which combines a wonderful blend of fantasy, intrigue and magic with a healthy touch of romance, marks the debut of an exciting new writers.
I do not know how to begin this review. What I've read is very different from today's literature as the most beautiful love can not ever told, engaging from the first page, the author is great at all and the characters are the best of the panorama ? So I start? It seems unreal in today's literature have a novel so good. In a way, I expected something different, but what I read is another thing entirely different and better.
Mechanical Heart is the debut of its author, Jaclyn Dolamore. His writing is agile, brilliant and wonderful. It shows us things so delicately that even smell and feel what the protagonist touches or smells. is one of those authors who write their own hook, because it never gives you all the details, which is appreciated, and always want more to quench that thirst for mystery.
The protagonist, Nimira, the thing is released. It is hypocritical and wild, has suffered a lot, which gives absolute realism. Has a normal thoughts of a girl her age and is good at singing, thing she never uses in his favor, rather not highlight. For her it is a quality. Some of the characters are bothering you constantly, for which She smiles on the outside, but inside has some answers ... But in the end, is exploding and the answers are spoken, silence the mouths of many people.
Other characters, such as soot or Linza, so well defined, without giving many details, but with brilliant descriptions, streamline the plot. Because both are persons under the influence of others, with much inner pain and secrets. Linza, the same age as Nimira, wants to be associated with it, so Nimira support and eventually become friends. Which Linza used to tell everything he knows about the house they live in those moments Nimira, after the job offer by the PLC. The secrets that he has not tell you, they are each better: D
And now comes the turn to love. Love most beautiful, soft, fragile and brand that is never read. is not heavy because ... "A clockwork mechanism can move, you can kiss, hug o. .. feel? No. He plays the piano keys, sometimes the Club, to communicate with Nim. This would fall in love. At first attracted by loneliness, then grief and melancholy that unites them, but later it is love that crosses. And as always, come into play one second man ... But it is not typical! The man, who is Hollin, a woman needs her and she loves him but is forced to pretend to try to save the robot, called Erris.
The story continues with lots of twists, characters pedantic and enraged, the final trial, magic, spells, spirits of dead and all colors. But in fact, as can be expected of youth novels, we have an abrupt end. Is, at least, slow and deliberate. Not to stir the heart of each page, but not a thing to happen fast. It lays out a plan and execute, but things go wrong and become. Later, the plan goes well. But I missed that in the trial with the Council of Magic, Annalie say things by halves and everybody believed. That has left me somewhat puzzled, but the only downside. And no doubt, need and the second part, to this end ... the end ... Oh, I cry!
highlights the work of the translator and cover designer. First, it is the first book that has not a single misspelling. Perhaps in the end one, but is so small that it does not matter. I can not help but congratulate you, because it also has been able to use the new standards otrografĂa. And the cover designer has reflected well the feeling of the novel, hardness and fear, thus creating the key that winds the PLC to perfection, it deserves applause. addition, if we missed quality so characteristic of Versatile in his later novels, this returns us to grow, with a harder cardboard cover and the pages as normal and not recycled, again, very good work .
A novel that shocked by her humanity and frailty.
