... because it awesome! I never hooked on to a novel, and above all, a first part. Because if someone had warned of the dangers that lurk behind the sunset in Morganville, I would have thrown to read. The service has been complete. Or 24 hours in my hands. He has flown. And so has been the phenomenon that has unleashed in me, that I started the second run. I must say that vampire novels are truly missed.
I spent fear, uncertainty, electrical sensations, love, mystery, hatred and sorrow. feelings are transmitted in a very realistic. Despair and action are the very best. Jewels. The story, the plot in full, original and innovative. Hazards in the complicated world of vampire fashions, but to reinvent itself and in a strange way. Because these bloodsucking scary. And really scary. Of being embarrassed. The Morganville Vampires are vampires, Dracula-style.
Something that I found cool is the way in which these beings who control everything cooks in the city. From the smallest detail is taken care of. The plot has no faults or parts not fit, though it is a saga that currently are twelve volumes, it seems that the mysteries are well built and when you solve something, something bigger grips the protagonists.
Now is the turn of the characters. I think that I have never encountered so many people so close, real, with flaws and real feelings, vocabularies of ordinary people who say things as they are, they have their ups and downs, and most important everything consistent. not idiots or heroes. Not at all. They are ordinary people, of all life.
The relationship undoubtedly my favorite, is what stays with Eve. Either the characters have something special with it. For Claire (why, oh, my God, I love) has a friend relationship. They get to know and taking confidence. Shane, I love it because it is supernatural, along perfectly, but are hidden in the facade of hate. They keep saying things. They are adorable. And Eve with Michael ... Well then, this relationship is different;)
There is love, yes, there is love. Not much, but there is. noting is going and the scene says it all, there is a scene with censorship. Hell, no. Rachel Caine not cut anything, and strutting hips, touching morreos with tongue and chest are insured.
we can focus not only on the main characters. Some are minor and very good and even better defined than some more visibility. For Claire's parents noticed. Because currents act as a parent (well, something ... delusional) and worry about their daughter. Well ... Monica's also monikettes. These women love me * _ * I do not know, but the stories I have a special attraction ... xD
Well, I think is one of the most extensive reviews I've done, but this novel, despite its simplicity and brevity, has to give and give . can discuss ad nauseum. And with only the final, which is not an end itself, is like a cut in the middle of an action, is to take a lot of conclusions ... but I had the second by my side, I have not had time to think about anything. The environment created by the novel has always kept me in it.
Rachel Caine's writing is wonderful. explains things in great detail, and although I think you are wrong conversations with several people (like that is not located well, and you have to read all the conversations to recognize who is saying what), for the rest is saved. abused obscene gestures and oh-God-my ... But no matter because it's gorgeous! Can you hear me? Magnificent not have a very extensive vocabulary, but management has a history and language, and that's the most important. I do not think I can add anything more, except that the dialogues are made but are rare in some parts.
Disturbing. Different. Transgressive. Innovative.
